Olga Tsutskova
Was born in St. Petersburg in 1952. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculrture and Architecture (the Repin Institute) in 1977. In 1985 joined the Leningrad Section of the USSR Artists' Union.
Her works are distinguished with high professionalism and concern for details. The dominating subjects are still life and portrait. She is artist who sees their main aim as the perfection of painterly culture, in whose work nostalgic reminiscences of the art of the old masters take on a modern plastic intonation.
Many of her works have been bought by the Petersburg and Moskow Exhibition Boards and by private collectors in Düsseldorf(Germany), Seoul(S.Korea), and other cities of Europe and USA.
Her works have been displayed in a number of exhibitions in Petersburg and other cities of the Russia, Europe, USA and South Korea.
